The Qualifying Exam is a prerequisite for the defense of the doctoral thesis and aims to evaluate the candidate's scientific knowledge, as well as the preliminary capable content of his or her thesis, the stage of research development, possible improvements in the project, and the prospects for completion within the regulated timeframe.
